Annie is a resilient and compassionate individual with a strong belief in the power of perseverance. As a stroke survivor, she has a deep understanding of overcoming challenges and is committed to helping others navigate their own journeys.

For the past several years, Annie has volunteered at multiple hospitals in Singapore, including Singapore General Hospital, Outram Community Hospital, and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where she serves as a befriender for stroke patients. In this role, she shares her personal story to inspire hope, strength, and courage—demonstrating that “there is life after stroke.”

She also channels her creativity into teaching craft skills such as diamond painting and pastel colour painting to stroke survivors at organisations like the Singapore National Stroke Association and Stroke Support Station, further supporting their rehabilitation.

Annie’s decade-long experience as a missionary in Africa, the UK, and East Malaysia reflects her dedication to serving the underserved, a passion that continues to guide her work and advocacy today.
